英語コンテンツの拡充とサイトの英語対応について

2026年7月24日、英語コンテンツを追加するとともに、サイトの英語表示に対応しました。

今回の機能拡充は、令和7年度「未来を先導する世界トップレベル大学院教育拠点創出事業（FLAGs）」の支援を受けて、株式会社BSNアイネット（本社：新潟県新潟市、代表取締役社長：南雲 俊介）とともに開発・構築したものです。

このWebサイトは、新潟大学学術リポジトリに登録された研究成果をもとに、AIが生成した解説文を公開するサービスです。研究内容を専門外の方にも分かりやすく伝えるとともに、研究成果を日本語・英語の両方で発信し、国内外のより多くの方々に研究内容を届けることを目指しています。

今回、新たに以下のコンテンツ・機能を追加しました。

追加したコンテンツ

• 英語論文を新たに収録し、AIが生成した英語・日本語の解説文を公開
• 既に公開している日本語論文について、英語のAI解説文を追加

追加した機能

• サイト全体の英語表示に対応

英語の解説文は、英語ネイティブ向けと非ネイティブ向けの2つのレベルで提供しています。これにより、日本語で書かれた研究成果についても海外の研究者や留学生、留学希望者などに分かりやすく発信できるようになり、本学の研究力や特色を広く知っていただくことが期待されます。

また、英語論文については日本語による解説文も提供しています。これにより、これまで専門性や言語の壁から触れにくかった研究成果を、小学生や中高生を含む幅広い世代の方々に分かりやすく紹介できるようになりました。さらに、本学への進学や大学院進学を検討する学生が英語論文に触れる機会を増やすことで、研究への興味・関心を高め、日本人大学院生の獲得や大学院における研究活動の活性化につながることが期待されます。

本学の研究成果を国内外へ広く発信し、研究と社会をつなぐ学術コミュニケーションの取組として、ぜひご活用ください。

・英語版お知らせ（日本語と同内容）

Niigata University added English content to the AI Explains! Niigata University’s Research website on July 24, 2026, and made the site available in English.

This feature enhancement was developed and built in collaboration with BSN INET Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, President and CEO: NAGUMO Shunsuke), with support from the 2025 Future-Leading and Advanced Graduate-schools (FLAGs).

This website publishes AI-generated explanatory texts based on research registered in the Niigata University Academic Repository to convey the content in an easy-to-understand manner to non-specialists, and to disseminate the research in both Japanese and English to reach a wider audience both domestically and internationally.
We added the following new content and features:

【Added Content】

• Published newly added English research papers with AI-generated English and Japanese explanations.
• Added AI-generated English explanations for previously published Japanese research papers.

【New features】

• The entire website is available in English.

Different English explanations are provided for native English speakers and for non-native speakers. Thus, we can communicate about research written in Japanese in an easy-to-understand manner to overseas researchers, international students, and prospective study abroad students, and help raise awareness of our university’s research areas and content.

We also provide Japanese explanations for English research papers. Thus we can present research that was previously difficult to access due to the specialized nature and language barriers in an easy-to-understand manner to a wide range of people, including elementary, junior high, and high school students. In addition, by increasing opportunities for students considering enrolling at Niigata University or our graduate school to engage with English papers, we expect to foster their interest in research, attract more Japanese graduate students, and further progress with research in our graduate school.

We hope you will use this new website to widely disseminate the research findings of Niigata University both domestically and internationally, and for academic communication that connects research with society.
